- EN 747
- European safety standard for bunk beds and high beds (guardrail height, gaps, load).
- EN 1725
- European standard for bed frames and mattresses, often referenced alongside EN 747.
- Berth
- One sleeping position. "200 kg per berth" means each sleeping level is rated to that load.
- KD (Knock-Down)
- Flat-pack, unassembled packing that maximises container yield.
- Powder coating
- Electrostatic baked finish that resists rust and scratches better than liquid paint.
- Steel gauge / tube thickness
- Wall thickness of the steel tube, typically 0.8-1.2 mm for standard beds.
- Guardrail
- Barrier on the open side of the upper berth to prevent falls; height follows EN 747.
- Anti-tamper / anti-ligature
- Welded, concealed-fixing construction for correctional and institutional use.
- Incoterms (FOB / CIF / DDP)
- Trade terms defining who handles freight and duties - FOB, CIF or DDP.
- MOQ
- Minimum order quantity - 50 sets per model or order for standard Zehao products.
- Lead time
- Production window after deposit - 25-30 days for standard models.
- SGS
- Independent test house; Zehao bunks are SGS load-tested at 200 kg per berth.
