A daybed is a low sofa-height bed that works as seating during the day and as a bed at night. Frame and Build
The frame is welded steel tube with a powder-coat finish, so it carries daily sit-and-lie load without the wobble of flat-pack DIY frames. The sleeping surface uses steel slats or a mesh deck, and the side rails are low enough to read as a sofa. Mattress thickness of 10 to 15 cm is the usual specification; we can build to a buyer's mattress size and a RAL colour.
