Prison Bunk Beds
Correctional furniture is specified around removal of risk, not comfort. Zehao prison bunk beds use fully welded steel frames with concealed fixings and no detachable components, so there is nothing to remove, sharpen or use as a weapon. Frames are SGS tested to 200 kg per berth and supplied for cell, dormitory and remand accommodation.

What to check before specifying correctional beds
- Ask how the frame is joined. Welded construction removes the fasteners that are the usual tamper point.
- Require concealed or tamper-resistant fixings for every connection.
- Confirm anchoring. Beds in cells are normally fixed to the floor or wall.
- Check the standard the load test refers to, and whether your jurisdiction requires a local standard instead.
